Abhilash Pillai is an experienced tech leader at udaan, heading the Product Management for the Customer Platform. With a robust background in supply chain, data platforms, and customer experience, Abhilash brings a wealth of expertise to his current role.

Previously, Abhilash served as the Director of Product at Flipkart, where he led the fulfilment product team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service with high accuracy and cost-efficiency across vendors, including eKart. He also spearheaded the network product team at eKart, optimizing the movement of shipments for both speed and cost.

Prior to Flipkart, Abhilash worked with Freecharge, where he led the strategic wing, developing products that allowed offline retailers to send targeted ads to core customers, enhancing the shopping experience.

Abhilash's product management experience also extends to Yahoo, where he worked on the Membership Platform, focusing on identity solutions, and on the Search team, where he successfully grew search volume and user engagement across the APAC region.

He holds a PGDM in Marketing and Strategy from IIM Lucknow and a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from P.E.S Institute of Technology.

Atul Sharma is the head of Policy and Corporate Affairs at udaan. He is an industry leader with over 38 years of experience. Prior to joining udaan, Atul was heading Regulatory and Corporate Affairs at Bharti Group.

Atul has vast experience in Corporate and Government Affairs and has handled assignments across Telecom, Shipbuilding, Ports, Railways, SEZ spanning across managing finance, taxation, litigations and Policy and Regulatory issues. He has worked closely with the government on policies like SEZ, Land Acquisition, and Rehabilitation & Resettlement.

Atul holds a Masters in Commerce from Agra University and is a CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.

Chaitanya Adapa leads udaanCapital - a comprehensive, tech-led, supply chain financing platform for brands and manufacturers.

Chaitanya has been working at the intersection of finance and technology since 2006. He’s donned various hats as a quantitative analyst, an engineer, a Product Manager, and a Business Development Lead across three domains: financial markets, digital payments and lending.

Throughout his career, he has played a pivotal role in transforming early-stage ventures like Flipkart, udaan, and udaanCapital into thriving, mature businesses.

Chaitanya is an alumnus of IIT Delhi and IIM Bangalore.

With over 23 years of diverse experience in corporate finance, Kiran Thadimarri has built a distinguished career leading finance functions across multiple industries. Currently, as Senior Vice President at udaan, Kiran oversees Corporate Finance and Legal, playing a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy and governance. At udaan, Kiran has contributed significantly to building strong controllership and governance, managing innovative debt financing, tax leadership, and cash management, while also driving financial operations and strategy to support the company’s growth.

Kiran’s prior leadership roles include being the Cofounder and CFO of Genworks Health Pvt Ltd, a medical technology distribution startup, where he steered the financial direction from 2015 to 2021. He also held key finance leadership positions at Wipro GE Healthcare and GE Healthcare SA, where he led FP&A and business finance functions across several geographies, focusing on financial management and strategic growth.

In addition to his financial expertise, Kiran has deep experience in fundraising, both equity and debt, financial management, and legal & compliance, with a keen focus on enabling business growth and operational excellence. His exposure to diverse sectors, from healthcare to industrial automation, has provided him with a unique perspective on building sustainable businesses and managing complex financial operations.

A Chartered Accountant (2001) and a graduate of Bangalore University with a BCom (2000), Kiran is also a graduate of GE's prestigious Corporate Leadership Programs (FMP & CAS), which provided him with hands-on experience across industries like energy, industrial automation, and global capability centers.

Pradeep Yadav is a seasoned leader with close to two decades of experience in eCommerce and supply chain management. As the Head of Supply Chain & Logistics at udaan, he has played a pivotal role in building and scaling udaan’s logistics operations into one of India's largest distribution networks. Pradeep’s expertise lies in simplifying complex operations and building scalable supply chain capabilities, a skill that has been instrumental in udaan’s growth journey since its inception.

Prior to udaan, Pradeep was with Flipkart during its early days, where he led the creation of the supply chain for large appliances and significantly expanded logistics capabilities. He has also held key roles at Philips and General Motors.

Pradeep holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and a BTech from IIT Delhi. His leadership continues to drive innovation and efficiency in the eCommerce landscape.

Raza Khan is the head of PR & Communications at udaan. Prior to joining udaan, Raza was heading communications at Bharti Enterprises, handling communications for all Group companies, including Bharti Airtel (India, South Asia and Africa), Bharti Retail, FieldFresh, Bharti Reality, and Bharti Foundation.

Raza is a seasoned public relations professional with over 25 years of experience in diverse sectors. He has also held leadership positions in India’s leading PR agencies like Perfect Relations and Genesis-Burson Marsteller.

Raza holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications from the Delhi School of Communication and a degree in Chemical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Raipur.

Sanjeev Mehta heads our Product Management for Supply and Retail systems including Accounting and Controls. He also closely works with our Supply Chain teams in strengthening udaan’s position as a cutting-edge organization in the various areas of supply chain - operational process and their design, Industrial Engineering & Automation, Inventory Planning and Procurement Operations.

He is one of the founding team member of udaan and is recognized in the industry for his rare and unique cross-functional skills and in-depth knowledge in these complex interconnected domain areas.

Sanjeev has over 25 years of product management experience and prior to udaan played leadership roles in Product Management, Planning and process design at Flipkart.

He holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta and BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi.

A veteran technologist with nearly two decades of experience building scalable internet products.

As a founding member of udaan, Siddhartha established robust technical foundations and built a high-performing engineering team that seamlessly bridges technology and product development.

Previously at Flipkart, he joined as an early engineer and architected core platforms including Search, Promotions & Merchandising, and Data Infrastructure. His expertise spans backend, frontend, infrastructure, and AI technologies.

Siddhartha holds an M.Tech from IIIT-Bangalore, specializing in Information Retrieval & Distributed Systems, and a B.Tech from JNTU Hyderabad.

Vignesh has over 18 years of varied cross functional experience in e-commerce and finance. Throughout his career, Vignesh has excelled in multiple roles, showcasing his versatility and expertise across various functions including P&L, Sales & Business Development, Business Finance, Strategy, Product Management, Analytics, and Planning.

He has been with udaan since inception as part of the founding team and has been instrumental in setting up and scaling multiple business categories including Food, FMCG, Fresh, Electronics & General Merchandising. Currently, at udaan he leads the Category Business and is responsible for driving the P&L.

Prior to joining udaan, Vignesh worked with Flipkart in leadership roles for over three years, overseeing Mobile, Electronics, and Large Appliances categories.

In the past, Vignesh has also worked with Hewlett Packard, overseeing Customer Strategy, Category Growth, Marketing Performance, and Channel Experience.

Vignesh holds an MBA from ISB Hyderabad, and is also a professionally qualified Cost & Management accountant.

With a 14-year career spanning across corporate finance, strategy, and fundraising, Vishnu Menon brings expertise in driving growth and building robust capital structures. Currently a Senior Vice President at udaan, Vishnu oversees Business Finance, Corporate Strategy, Investor Relations, and Fundraising, supporting the company’s mission with a focus on sustainable and strategic growth.

Vishnu’s prior experience includes five years at Bain & Company, where he built a strong track record in growth strategy, performance improvement, and private equity diligence. He worked on a variety of cases across sectors such as IT, telecom, chemicals, and micro-finance, and contributed to Bain’s foundational work on the ‘Founders’ Mentality framework and the Global Growth Playbook’.

Prior to joining udaan, Vishnu was the Founder and CEO of Wandertrails, a pioneering travel-tech e-commerce venture that redefined experiential travel in India by enabling curated stays and local activities. His entrepreneurial journey with Wandertrails enriched his expertise in scaling businesses with a customer-first mindset.

An engineer by training, Vishnu holds an MBA from IIM Calcutta, where he was the sole recipient of the prestigious O.P. Jindal Scholarship and served on the IIM C Placement Committee. Recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum, Vishnu has also been a speaker at prominent platforms, including the India Economic Summit and TiECon.
